Bad Decisions

Several bad decisions have been made by the Saxo Bank team lately.  Here is a quick recap:

1.  Bjarne Riis does not renew a contract Carlos Sastre, current Tour de France Champ.
      - Apparently Riis wanted to roll his dice on the Schleck Brothers for future wins.

2.  Frank Schleck, the new team leader admitted to sending almost $10,000 to Dr.
     Fuentes, a doping doctor.

3.  Riis is forced to suspend Schleck until he can figure out why he was sending money
to a doctor known for doping.

That is how you win the Tour de France and then don’t have a team leader all in the space of 3 months.  Way to go Team Saxo Bank. Let’s hope that Schleck doesn’t use some excuse like “I was just getting medical advice.” This excuse doesn’t hold much water, seeing that Dr. Fuentes is a Gynecologist.
