Billy’s In-Famous Schwinn LeTour
As Ned Nederlander once said in one of the best movies of all time, “In-Famous is when you’re MORE than famous. This man El Guapo, he’s not just famous, he’s IN-famous.” Well that perfectly describes the Schwinn LeTour that my friend Billy owns: It’s In-Famous. I wrote about his Schwinn LeTour a few days ago after a reader asked me if he would fit in with other cyclists even though he couldn’t afford a top of the line bike or clothing. My friend Billy can’t afford the newest stuff, but he makes up for it in style and speed. Style, because he rocks a 1980’s Shwinn LeTour, and Speed, because he rides that LeTour faster than anyone in our town.
