Is It Too Early to Pick the Tour de France Winner?

News out today says that Astana isn’t welcome at any ASO events, including the Tour de France.  This is from the doping scandals that have stung the event in 2006 and 2007.  Apparently ASO isn’t ready to forgive and forget just yet.  So is it too early to pick a winner for this year’s tour?  There is alot of racing between now and then, but if he stays healthy, Cadel Evans will run away with the yellow jersey.  Here is my podium pick (of course this can change as people are caught doping)……

1st Place - Cadel Evans-  Team Silence Lotto
2nd Place-  Mic Rogers-  Team High Road
3rd Place-  Yaroslav Popovych- Team Silence Lotto

This podium seems like a lock to me.  Let me know if you have any predictions of your own.
