Tour of California VIP Treatment
If you are planning on attending the Tour of California this month, you should consider purchasing a VIP package. There are several packages from which to choose, and it might just make you feel like you are part of the action.
Package 1: VIP Hospitality Tent - $200
The hospitality tents are located at the finish line of each stage. The package will get you preferred viewing areas to view the finish, all you can eat food, and a live feed of the race as it happens.
Package 2: Team Dinner - $500
Have you ever wanted to hang out in the same room with your favorite pro team? Here is your chance. You will be seated at a VIP table for one dinner. Of course you can bring a guest.
Package 3: Athlete Meet and Greet - $500
You will have access to a special area before each stage to meet your favorite cyclist and grab a few autographs. The package also comes with an Amgen Tour of California jersey for those riders to sign. What a deal!
Package 4: VIP Car Ride Along - $2000
This is my favorite deal. I know it is expensive, but that Cervelo R3 SL in your bedroom wasn’t exactly a thrifty purchase. You can’t get any closer than this to the riders unless you want to hang off of the back of a motorcycle with a camera for Velonews. To make this deal even sweeter, it also comes with a team dinner package.
If you are going to be at the Tour, and you are interested in one of these packages, contact Theresa Torres at AEG (organizer of the event). Her number is 213-742-7145. Have fun, and say hello if you see me there.
