Tour of Missouri- A Blast to Watch Online
I wish I still lived in Kansas City, because today’s circuit race around the Plaza would have been great to see in person. Since I am up here in Beautiful North Idaho with a trip already planned to Las Vegas for Interbike in a few weeks, I decided to do the next best thing….I watched it online at cycling.tv. I have heard good and bad things about cycling.tv, but in my experience, the coverage has been fantastic. I streamed the race today, and the quality of the picture, sound, and commentary were fabulous.
O.K. I have given a glowing review of the website, but what about the racing? It was tons of fun to watch. Today was full of breakaways, attacks, and ultra fast tempo. Before Ivan Dominguez won the race in a field sprint, we were able to see several attacks by some really good riders including George Hincapie. Day one of the Tour of Missouri was perfect. I can’t wait to log on for days 2-6. Do yourself a favor and check out the racing at cycling.tv…..it’s free. The race runs every day through Sunday.
