How and When Will the Landis Decision be Given?
I have received several e-mail questions about when and how the Floyd Landis decision will be handed down. There have been lots of guesses as to when the decision will be announced, but none of them have actually happened yet. The last rumor I heard was that it would be given tomorrow.
As to the question of how the answer will be announced. I e-mailed Travis Tygart, Senior Counsel for USADA, and he replied with the following(note he is not commenting on the Landis case specifically):
“Under the rules, the arbitration panel has ten (10) days from the close of the evidence to issue it written award. Typically, the awards are transmitted to the parties simultaneously and then we issue a release and post the decision on our website shortly thereafter.”

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is wonderful blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
